Ellie Morrissey, MS is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Ellie serves a wide range of disabilities, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and emotional/behavioral challenges. Ellie worked as a Program/Behavior Specialist at the SELPA level for six years before dedicating herself full-time to her private practice. This background in special education gives her an incredible knowledge base to utilize in direct assessment and facilitate the process, administer relevant gold standard tests, and “speak” to the IEP team. As an evaluator and team member, Ellie prides herself on being comprehensive, thorough, and collaborative.
Ellie was driven to specialize in IEEs by her experiences with them as both a team member and parent. After witnessing many IEE reports that were completed in a manner that was not actionable or relevant to the IEP team, and subsequently frustrating for parents, she dedicated herself to making the process more efficient with actionable outcomes for the student’s educational planning. In her free time, Ellie enjoys spending time with her husband and two awesome neurodivergent children, baking, reading, and volunteering.
